Johnnie Pearson is a 1996 graduate of Auburn University with a B.S in Chemical Engineering. Also, Johnnie is alumni of the championship Auburn Swimming program that produced the first Southeastern conference championship in 1994. He is currently the Sr. Director of Technology for the Pulp, Power, and Recovery Center of Excellence for Georgia Pacific supporting the Consumer Products, Packaging, and Cellulose businesses.

Johnnie began his career with Gulf States Paper Corporation in process engineering and has worked for Blue Ridge Paper Products, Georgia Pacific, and Eastman Chemical in operations leadership and engineering roles prior to joining the corporate engineering team in 2017. His subject matter expertise has been integral to the Georgia Pacific strategy in multiple business segments. Johnnie has been instrumental in major expansions across the GP enterprises and the application of state of the art technologies in their operations.
Johnnie and his wife Amy are both Auburn graduates who have a passion for travel that they share with the two daughters Mya and Emma.
